When working with various rituals and oftentimes candles, inevitably the practitioner may suffer minor burns to their fingers or other body parts. It is a natural consequence of our work, and can easily be taken care of.
Here is a simple recipe for a burn oil that blends several herbs in a synergy all for helping to heal burns.
Burn – Synergistic Blend
• Lavender, 10 drops of infused oil
• Chamomile (German), 10 drops
• Chamomile (Roman), 5 drops
Mix together in these proportions and apply one drop of the blend per square inch of affected skin. Use an eye dropper for best results in measurements. Lavender acts as an antibiotic and reduces inflammation while chamomile helps with blistering and healing capacity. If you do not have chamomile, you can substitute with yarrow or raw unfiltered honey; both have the same synergistic effects. Aloe vera is also very helpful in healing wounds, consider your blends carefully and work with what is best for you.
Please keep in mind this is not medical advice. If you have been severely burned, seek medical attention.
